Erik Sass of Publisher's Daily reports that 17 members of the NAA signed a letter to Brave calling its plans for ad-blocking and replacement in its new browser is illegal. Brave proposed new business model includes blocking publisher ads and replacing them with their own ads, while still displaying the publisher's content on the browser and apps. Other NAA complaints include copyright infringement, breach of contact, unauthorized access to websites, unfair competition and violation of the publishers' terms of use.
