James Rufus Koren reports in the Los Angeles Times on yesterday's meeting of Tribune Publishing shareholders and where they stood on Gannett's buyout offer. While there was some dissension in the ranks, Tribune said its board was elected with support from the majority of shareholders.  Gannett is weighing its next steps.

Tribune Publishing also used this meeting to announce it was changing its name to Tronc, an acronym for Tribune online content.
